As champions of public education, the Rockdale Education Foundation invests in students and teachers, fills funding gaps, and rallies community support to expand educational opportunities.
Founded in 1988 by visionary leaders from the Rockdale County Board of Education and Chamber of Commerce, the Foundation was created to provide resources beyond the school system’s regular budget—funding innovation, opportunity, and achievement across all RCPS schools.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Foundation is governed by a volunteer board and supported by generous individuals, businesses, and community partners who believe every student deserves a chance to succeed.
